The E-Force product represents a simple, practical concept to improve the immune system.
Natural vitamin E is added as an innovative type of protection. This involves using a tocopherol-based vitamin E embedded in a fat matrix to prevent oxidation. Trials have demonstrated that this way of supplementing natural vitamin E increases the plasma level of vitamin E.
Vitamin E supplementation to calf diets is known to improve the immune response and health status of the animal, improving growth performance. Calves with low plasma E levels are therefore more susceptible to infections. The intake of vitamin E is overall low around weaning which is most likely due to a low bioavailability of commercial vitamin E. E-Force contains the most bioavailable type of vitamin E processed to improve protection and absorption.
The product has been developed for calves around weaning but can be used for all animals and other time periods to improve the plasma vitamin E status of the animal.

Feeding instructions:
10 g per day per animal (= 30mL = 0,3 dL) around stressful periods.
- E.g. at weaning: 10 g per day per animal from 3 weeks before weaning to at least 2 weeks after weaning.
- E.g. when animals are moved or put together: 10 g per day per animal in the week before being moved until at least the week after.
- E.g. when the herd is hit by disease: 10 g per day per animal for one to two weeks.
