Danish and foreign experiments show that an increased growth in heifer calves during the milk feeding period results in a higher milk yield in the grown animal, so that the milk amount and dry matter concentration in the milk are adapted to the desired growth in the calves.
Mixing instructions: 130 gr MilkFoss 60 + 0.9 ltr. water = 1 litre of MilkFoss 60 milk with 13% dry matter. During the winter period or during other periods when high growth is desired, the concentration can advantageously be increased by up to 160 grams of MilkFoss 60 + 0.84 litres of water (this concentration is also recommended for jersey calves).
Stir MilkFoss 60 into 45-50oC hot water. Stirring time approx. 1 minute. Feeding temperature at approx. 40oC.
MilkFoss 60 is very suitable for warm milk feeding.
Free access to water, calf compound feed and hay.
