3. The product is an oral paste, administered with the enclosed pump to the piglet immediately after birth and again after about 12 hours.
Description of the product
Piglet Saver is a specific nutritional initiative that compensates for the negative effects of low birth weights, by increasing the ability of the piglet to utilize energy from the sows milk
1. Pigs with low birth weight have a reduced number of growth hormone receptors, which leads to a reduced production of the growth hormone IGF-1.
2. Piglet Saver stimulates the formation of growth hormone receptors and thus raising the IGF-1 in serum among runt pigs to a normal level.
3. With a normal level of IGF-1 the runt pigs are better to make use of the energy in the milk from the sow.
4. Piglet Saver increases the immunity of the pigs and restarts the pig, so that the pig is better prepared to handle infections and stress.

1 pump of Piglet Saver (corresponding to 1 ml) is applicated to small and weak born pigs into their mouths immediately after birth. The treatment is repeated after 12 hours or in any situation, where the pig's metabolism has to be stimulated (small and weak pigs).
