Vilofoss at EuroTier 2024: Innovating animal farming for a sustainable future

From November 12–15, 2024, Vilofoss participated in EuroTier 2024, the world’s leading trade fair for animal production, held in Hannover, Germany. The event brought together 2,193 exhibitors from 51 countries and approximately 120,000 visitors from 149 countries. Spread across multiple halls of the Hannover exhibition grounds, it served as a key platform for showcasing innovations in farming.

Practical Innovations for Farming

At EuroTier 2024, we presented a range of nutritional solutions under the theme “We Innovate Animal Farming,” including two new products: ShellFoss and CoolFoss. ShellFoss is a feed supplement developed to improve eggshell stability in older laying hens with a blend of organic trace elements, fermented plant extracts and vitamins. CoolFoss is a feed solution designed to help dairy cows manage heat stress. By including essential oils, prebiotics and probiotics, it helps cows maintain digestion and milk production under hot and humid conditions.

Vilofoss Farm Solutions

We also presented Vilofoss Farm Solutions: practical strategies designed to address common challenges in modern farming. These solutions are tailored for cattle, pigs and poultry and cover 11 key areas such as feed efficiency, animal welfare and sustainable practices. They are based on real-world farming needs, focusing on solutions that help farmers improve operations and address specific challenges they face on a daily basis. The goal is to support animal health, improve productivity and help farmers run more efficient and effective operations.

The Vilofoss booth at EuroTier was a place for valuable discussions and sharing knowledge. Our team was present to meet visitors, answer their questions and offer practical advice. Farmers and partners had the opportunity to learn more about Vilofoss’ offerings such as mineral feeds, feed supplements and management tools.
