Stalosan Documentation

Several tests and trials performed by independent laboratories among others have demonstrated a highly significant effect of Stalosan F regarding both bacteria, fungi, viruses and parasites.

At the same time, a great number of farm trials have been carried out, demonstrating a significant reduction of common pathogenic microorganisms.

Toxicology

Stalosan F is not harmful to human or animal health. However, due to fine dust particles that may cause irritation, a dust mask is highly advisable during dusty work such as blowing.

Stalosan F has been subject to toxicological examinations to identify the effect on skin, eyes, airways and the gastrointestinal system. All tests have been approved by the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA).

Summary of toxicology studies

Toxicology Tests:

Acute Inhalation Toxicity Study in Rats

Dermal Sensitization Study in Guinea Pigs

Acute Oral Toxicity Up And down Procedure in Rats

Primary Eye Irritation Study in Rabbits

Acute Dermal Toxicity Study in Rats

Primary Skin irritation Study in Rabbits

Environmental impact

Toxicity studies in aquatic organisms

Eurofins, an independent testing laboratory, has performed acute toxicity studies of Stalosan F for organisms in aquatic environments. The results showed that Stalosan F has absolutely no harmful effect on aquatic organisms.

Fish (Poecilia reticulata), acute toxicity test

Algal growth inhibition test

Daphnia magna, acute toxicity test
